Something very special - Etwas ganz Besonderes! Diese Reise war schon etwas ganz Besonderes. Zum ersten Mal fuhren mein Mann Rainer und ich gemeinsam nach England. Die Route führte uns von Kent über Somerset nach Wales. Es war sehr schön, diese wunderbaren Landschaften gemeinsam zu erleben.

Die Championship Show der South Wales Kennel Association fand in den Hallen des Royal Welsh Show Ground statt. Die Scotties wurden gerichtet von Maurice Marschall. Diese Schau war wieder ganz Besonders für mich: 1985, also vor 26 Jahren, gewann ich mit meinem ersten Scottie Ch. Alex von der Leinemasch "Darnley" zum ersten Mal die Terriergruppe auf der CACIB in Valkenburg (NL). Die Scotties und die Gruppe wurden damals ebenfalls von Maurice Marshall gerichtet.

Und die Steigerung: Ganz besonders Besonders war das Ergebnis der South Wales Show: Ch. Sir Darnley's Qubic Q gewann das CC und wurde bester Rüde! Q ist damit der erste Deutsche Scottish Terrier, der ein Englisches CC gewinnen konnte! Er ist ein UrUrUrenkel von Ch. Alex von der Leinemasch.
