Sir Darnley's annual review 2003

At the beginning of the new year it is time for a review.

Last year we have sadly lost even 3 of our Scotties: Multi Ch. Sir Darnley's Busy Buzzy at the age of nearly 14 years, Ch. Sir Darnley's Jackanapes Josy at the age of only 7 years with cancer and J.Ch. Sir Darnley's Celtic Cindy at the age of 13 years.Cindy had spent her last year with us after the death of her owner Maria. They all – like also Multi Ch. Sir Darnley's Ebon Eagle (owner: Michaela Amrath) will always stay alive in our mind and will never be forgotten!

Ch. Sir Darnley's Kiss-Curl Kylie had 2 litters with an interval ov 9 months: The "N"-litter in February, where we have kept Nellie and the "O"-litter in November. She now retires from breeding.

The Sir Darnley's show balance of 2003 is more than excellent! The star of my breeding was Sir Darnley's Mylord Mortimer (Owner: Helma van Wieringen, NL). He was shown 11 times and went 7 x best of breed (BOB), 1 x best low legged Terrier and 2 x best in show! Congratulations and many thanks for the great support to Helma and Rolf! By this, Mortimer has been one of the most successful Scotties in Germany  in 2003!

Further successes went to his mother Sir Darnley's Kiss-Curl Kylie, his brother Sir Darnley's Magical Mascot (Owner: Marianne Roos-Otten, NL) and his half brothers and sisters Sir Darnley's Noble Nicolson, Sir Darnley's Native Nugget and Sir Darnley's Nosy Nellie.

=>Here<= you find a chronic of all shows that we have visited in 2003 and =>here<= are all results according to each dog.

And then, at the 20th. of August this homepage went online. Since then we have app. 1000 visitors from all around the world on my site! I am very surprised and very happy about this lovely resonance, which motivates me to expand and to update it regularly.

There are already several show visits planned for 2004, I guess there will be more than last year ;-)

Even from our current litter a small girl should stay with us. I am really looking forward to see if they will continue to develop promisingly. The next litter in my kennel will not arrive before 2005, then from our Nellie.

Furthermore I will organize a Terrier show in June together with my local Terrier group "OG Kreis Neuss".

Also this year I want to attend a 3 days trail in the beautiful landscape "Eifel" together with my friends horse "Djurre".

To all Scottiefans I would like to wish heath and a lot of success in 2004 and of course much fun with my homepage!
