 Beside her show career Gretna also was successful mother of our litters Sir Darnley's J, K and L.

Here her daughter Ch. Sir Darnley's Jackanapes Josy with judge Mrs. Nellie Holland (Kennel Noonsun, GB) after her "best in show" win on the Scottie special 1999 in Kassel.

Another daughter is Ch. Sir Darnley's Kiss-Curl Kylie. Here she was best of breed on the Scottie special 2004 under judge Mrs. Avril Herd (Kennel Feregait, GB).

Kylie carries on the line in my kennel. She is mother of the extremely successful litters Sir Darnley's M, N and O.
 Gretna always was good for a joke.

This is my "picture of the year 2004"! It was taken during the show in Hellenthal in July. Here we present 3 generations Sir Darnley's! 

Multi Ch. Sir Darnley's Gretna Green (by: Ch. Pendlehill Magnus, out of: Sir Darnley's Bumble Bee) is sitting on the left side, further right her daughter Ch. Sir Darnley's Kiss-Curl Kylie (by: Ch. Raglan Ringmaster) and right from her, 7 puppies out of her 3 litters: Ch. Magical Mascot (Owner Marianne Roos-Otten), the Junior Champions Nosy Nellie and Noble Nicolson (Owner Helma van Wieringen), Orla Online Oasis, Ch. Mylord Mortimer (Owner Helma van Wieringen), Olivia Offbeat Obsession and Mayson Montgomery (Owner Fam. Horn).
Turned grey with honour - Gretna at the age of 12 years during our holidays in Denmark.

 It was as she wanted to say good bye to the beloved landscape.

Gretna dies in the morning of 02.12.2004 at the age of 12,5 in my arms.

Until the week before she still was totally fit, so her sudden death really was unexpeted. We guess that she had a tumor in the brain. In fact this was graciously but - as always - much too early.

We will never forget this great Scottie personality!!!
