Sir Darnley's Gretna Green

21.07.1992 - 02.12.2004

Gretna Green is standing for the 2nd Generation of my breeding, which are most of the time litters from Darnley’s and Shirley’s daughters with Ch. Pendlehill Magnus.

Gretna was a very special character. She was always happy and pretty sure to be the middle of everything. If not – all right!

Always I had to keep some shoes, leads and belts save. Otherwise nothing will remain of it – except some metal parts!
For a Scottie, she has a remarkable movement with long steps. May be this is the reason why Gretna has quite an urge to move, which she has often inherited to her off spring.

This movement may have been one reason for her outstanding show career. Already out of  youth class Gretna went best Terrier and 4th in show on the Eurodogshow in Kortrijk 1993. Breed judge was Dorothy Standen (Tambrae).

Successful offspring in the show ring are Ch. Sir Darnley’s Jackanapes Josy, Ch. Kiss-Curl Kylie (both owned by me) and Killilan Kilian . Kylie continues the line in my kennel very successully!
