Sad news this time

Sir Darnley's Hopeful Hazel died last week at the age of 12 1/2 years.

As a puppy she suvived a hard Parvo infection. After she had recovered completely she lived together with her uncle Sir Darnley's Countdown Chip in Brussels in the family of Yvette where she was loved and cared perfectly.

We are mourning with her owner Yvette for this lovely Scottie girl.

It is a comfort to us that soon the little Sir Darnley's Principal Prince will move to Yvette and accompanies her into a new period of life.

I also have extended my list of Links.

05.06.2005

No, this weekend we were not at the Eurodog in Tulln (A), it was just too far for us. But surely the results will be soon to find on the official site of Eurodog 2005.

In Place of that we can present enjoyable results from the last weekend:

We celebrate a new VDH- and German Champion:

Sir Darnley's Native Nugget "Esprit"

On the International show in Neumünster on 28.05.05,  Esprit went V1 and won Res. CAC and Res. CACIB. Thus she completed the year that has to be between the first and the last ticket and at the age  of only 27 months she is now German Champion!

Congratulation to her owner Gerda van Stuivenberg from kennel "from Dash Mountain Farm's" in Holland!

The complete Scottie results were also transmitted and are to find =>here<=.

Next day on the Terriershow OG Bordesholmer Land  Ch. Sir Darnley's Native Nugget "Esprit" went best female.

J. Ch. From Dash Mountain Farm's Jolly Jock, son of   Ch. Sir Darnley's Magical Mascot, went best of breed and 5th. best in show!

Once again congratulations to Gerda van Stuivenberg, owner of both dogs, for this lovely success.

=>Here<= are the results of the Terrier show.

At the same day on the Terrier show in Düsseldorf        J. Ch. Sir Darnley's Noble Nicolson was shown. He won the open class and got Res. CAC.

Owner and handler Helma van Wieringen had hard work with her Nick who did not agree to show at a temperature of more than 30°C. But well done Helma!

The results of the just 6 entered scotties are =>here<= with some pictures taken by Rolf Conrads.

The same weekend Rainer and I travelled to the North See. My sister Ute and my brother-in-law Dieter cellebrated their "round-number" birthdays close to Husum where they got to know eachother many years ago.

We had some delightful days next to the "Hattstedter Deich" and on the small island "Hamburger Hallig". It was a lovely company of app. 60 friends and everything was very well organized!

Our dogs stayed at home but were perfectly looked after by Michaela Amrath.

Here some pictures:

01.06.2005

We had some eventful weeks and it will take some days to work everything up step by step.

First of all =>here<= are lots of pictures of Nellie's puppies. They get sweeter every day!

New puppies  by Ch. Sir Darnley's Magical Mascot!

On 25.05.2005 at the "from Dash Mountain Farm's" 3 black boys were born. Congratulation to the breeder Gerda van Stuivenberg and to the proud mom Sundhilfare Ebony Ennia. Hopefully the 3 musketeers will develop as pretty as their already successful brother J. Ch. From Dash Mountain Farm's Jolly Jock.

17.05.2005

International show in Arnhem (NL), 16.05.2005

It was a small but powerful competition on the  "Pinkster-Tentoonstelling" on Whit Monday in  Arnhem. Just 10 Scotties were entered, including 4 champions.

Again the Sir Darnley's can celebrate a double:

Many thanks to Nicole Meissner who accompanied me this time and who was a great help!

05.05.2005

Now Nellie's puppies are already 2 weeks old. Time for new pictures!

For a better overview the files of the litter have been changed a bit. I hope the navigation is easier now.

Just try it =>here<=.

23.04.2005

Nellie's puppies arrived!

J. Ch. Sir Darnley's Nosy Nellie

Nellies first litter was born on 20.04.2995, a boy and a girl.

The proud mom and her babies are well and of course we are really happy with the small family!

The first pictures are to find =>here<=.

14.04.2005

We expect puppies!

Our Nellie expects her first litter - the Sir Darnley's 5th. generation!

Mother: J. Ch. Sir Darnley's Nosy Nellie Father: Ch. From Dash Mountain Farm's Merlin

Last year Nellie was successfully helping her mother nursing and educating the litter of her younger sisters. Soon she will be mother herself.

Just after mating she showed how proud she is. She came home and immediately she was PREGNANT and IMPORTANT!

At least now I am a VIP! Who is disturbing me?
I don't want to see you all ... ... but also don't want to miss anything!

In the meantime Nellie became wider and wider. Easy to see from the top even with alot of coat.

We hope to welcome Nellies puppies by the end of next week.

Today finally the show calendar has been updated.

13.04.2005

Sorry that it took some time to translate! Here are the reports from our shows last week:

International show in Erfurt, 02.04.2005

Terrier show LG Thüringen in Erfurt, 03.04.2005

We have had a wonderful weekend.

On the occasion of the  double show CACIB Erfurt/CAC LG Thüringen I have spent a short holiday together with the owners of Mortimer and Nick in the nice area of Thüringen in the east of Germany.

Inbetween the shows we have spent some nice time in Erfurt and in our hotel, a rebuildt old farmhouse in the small village Kirchheim not far from Erfurt.

And again the Sir Darnley's Team was successful:

J. Ch. Sir Darnley's Orla Online Oasis

Saturday: V1, Landesjugendsieger Thüringen, best of breed and in the big ring 3rd. Junior bitch of the day!

Sunday: V1, CAC and best opposite sex!

Ch. Sir Darnley's Mylord Mortimer

Saturday: V1, VDH and Res. CACIB

and VDH Champion!

Ch. Sir Darnley's Kiss-Curl Kylie

Saturday: V2 and Res. CAC/CACIB

J. Ch. Sir Darnley's Noble Nicolson

Sunday: V2 and Res. CAC

Both shows were held in the exhibition halls in Erfurt. On Saturday the organisation was quite chaotic but on Sunday everything was well prepared.

But the exhibitors were quite compensated by the very nice show ground.

The complete Scottie results of the International  CACIB Erfurt, 02.04.2005 are to find  =>here<=.

The results of the Terrier show LG Thüringen,  03.04.2005 are =>here<=.

If you are interested  =>here<= are some more pictures from our tour.

This time a special thanks to Rolf Conrads, who is responsable for nearly all the nice pictures!
